Medicine Hat Pottery Medicine Hat pottery started in 1937 and was in business until about 1955. Their stamp is highly recognizable and is affectionately refered to by collectors as 'the sleepy Indian.' MHP pieces range from crocks, vases, wallpockets, all the way to dinnerware whose glazes are reminiscent of Homer Lauglin's 'Fiesta,' 'Harlequin,' and 'Riviera' colorware lines. |
