CCC

Canadian Ceramic Craft (CCC) began in 1960.  Its founder was Dennis Tupy, a Czech immigrant who had previously worked for Jozo Weider at Blue Mountain Pottery.  While some of the glazes and shapes are similar to BMP, the more striking pieces from CCC were often art deco in form (long necked egrets, jaguars, and antelopes)  with a stunning 'standard' glaze unique to CCC, featuring unique liquidic pastels.  These same forms are known to exist in an aurora borealis glaze, both glazes are now very collectible.
